The Dream
Pure darkness surrounded him. The only sound he could hear was his labored breathing. It seemed to echo on for miles.
He was in the void.
Rarely, when he went to sleep, he’d appear in this so-called void. He wouldn’t see anything; just darkness. He wouldn’t hear anything, either. It was just him and this void where he would stay until he woke.
